St Luke's day, 18 October, is the patron feast of Škabrnja and is marked as Municipality Day. The programme consists of a ceremonial session of the municipal council in the new municipal building, performances by the Vladimir Nazor school choir and the KUD Škabrnja folklore society, and the presentation of public awards. Representatives of Zadar County, neighbouring municipalities, the Church and the school attend. The municipality sometimes moves the programme to a nearby day, so confirm the date before you travel.
