About
a full day
Kornati National Park takes in 89 islands, islets and reefs across roughly 220 square kilometres of sea and land; it has been a national park since 1980 and no one lives on the islands permanently. The nearest port with daily organised excursions is Biograd na Moru, about 25 kilometres and 35 minutes' drive from Škabrnja; Zadar and Pakoštane are alternatives. Fifteen operators are registered, from Zadar, Šibenik, Biograd, Murter, Pakoštane and Kukljica, and trips leave around 9 a.m. and return around 6 p.m. The price usually covers the boat, the park ticket, lunch and a guide, but this varies between operators. Book a day ahead and check exactly what is included.
