Paklenica National Park is about 45 kilometres and 45 minutes' drive from Škabrnja. Entrance 1 in Velika Paklenica is open all year, while Entrance 2 in Mala Paklenica opens only from May to October. Manita peć is the park's only show cave, at 570 metres above sea level: the walk up takes about an hour and a half, entry is guided only and strictly between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and the ticket is paid in cash on site. From July to September the cave opens daily; in other months only on set days. The park also has around 600 equipped climbing routes, and the north-west face of Anića kuk rises some 400 metres.
