The memorial centre stands on Trg dr. Franje Tuđmana in the centre of Škabrnja. The building has two floors: a multimedia hall on the ground floor and a memorial room listing the victims' names, roofed by a cross-shaped opening. Construction began in 2012 and ran on for years, including the bankruptcy of two contractors. As of 31 July 2026 the opening had not been confirmed, so check with the municipality before you travel.
