About
The mass grave was found on 6 June 1996 beside the Vladimir Nazor primary school. Twenty-seven people were exhumed, one defender and twenty-six civilians killed in 1991 and 1992, and every victim was identified. The monument "Wounded Dove" by the sculptor Slavomir Drinković was erected in November 1999: a polished black granite slab with a cross and a dove stopped in flight. It is dedicated to the 27 Croatian defenders and civilians. Wreaths and candles are laid here every 18 November.
